The Internet’s Valve Experts

The Valve Factory

Safety valves, relief valves and burner ignitors from Eppler Company. Search by part number, or call (324) 888-1524.

The Valve Factory is the online valve catalog of Eppler Company, an industrial valve and burner parts supplier in business since 2007. We list more than 950 Kunkle safety and relief valve variants across 30 series, 134 Auburn ignitors, flame rods and sensors, and close to 16,000 part numbers from Honeywell, Apollo/Conbraco, Armstrong International, Maxitrol and Fireye, with more brands added regularly. Every specification on this site comes from the manufacturer’s current datasheet, not from a catalog summary.

Same day quotes

ASME certified products

Kunkle code valves carry the ASME ‘V’, ‘UV’ or ‘HV’ stamp under Sections I, IV, VIII and XIII, and are National Board certified. Non-code valves are labeled as such.

Kunkle Valve Series We List

Every series below is built from its current Emerson datasheet, with capacities, orifice areas and temperature ranges taken from the published tables.

  • Kunkle 900 Series — the broadest line we carry, in bronze, carbon steel and stainless. Models 910 to 913, 916 to 921, 927, 928 and 929.
  • Kunkle 6000 Series — full-nozzle bronze safety relief valves, 1/2 in. to 2-1/2 in. threaded. Models 6010, 6021, 6030, 6121, 6130, 6182, 6221, 6230 and 6283.
  • Kunkle 6200 Series — cast iron steam and gas safety valves, models 6252 and 6254. Not for lethal or flammable service.
  • Kunkle 300/600 — flanged cast steel with stainless full-nozzle trim, and the largest capacities in the line.
  • Kunkle Liquid Relief Valves — extra-heavy bronze non-code valves for pumps, tanks and lines. Models 19, 20, 200A and 200H.
  • Kunkle 71S/171/171P/171S — non-code liquid relief for corrosive service, differing by body material and lever type.
  • Kunkle 189/363/389 — cryogenic-capable safety valves down to -320°F, with a PTFE seat and a control ring for blowdown adjustment.
  • Kunkle 264/265/266/267 — extra-heavy carbon steel and stainless relief valves for high pressure, high temperature and cryogenic service.
  • Kunkle 541/542/548 — compact brass air and gas safety valves for compressors, receivers and control air lines.
  • Kunkle 537 and Kunkle 930 — ASME Section IV heating boiler valves: the 537 for hot water, the 930 for low pressure steam.
  • Kunkle 215V and Kunkle 337 — cast iron vacuum relief and air/gas pressure relief, with the largest orifices Kunkle publishes.
  • Kunkle Model 1 and Kunkle Model 2 — compact brass safety valves for air, non-hazardous gas and steam, in top-discharge and side-outlet.
  • Kunkle 40R and Kunkle 40RL — stainless sentinel warning valves. They whistle to signal overpressure; they do not relieve it, and they are not a substitute for a code safety valve.

Why The Valve Factory

Depth on the lines we know best. Every Kunkle valve variant gets its own page carrying the numbers an engineer actually needs — orifice area, flow coefficient, capacity at each tabulated set pressure, seat material temperature limits, body and trim materials, weight and height, and the manufacturer’s datasheet linked for download. Where a datasheet does not publish a number, we say so rather than estimating one.

Breadth on everything else. Alongside the Kunkle and Auburn catalogs we publish searchable part number libraries for the brands Eppler Company supplies, and we are adding more. If you know the part number, search for it. If you do not, describe the application and we will identify it.

Specifications trace to the manufacturer’s current published revision. When Emerson issues a new datasheet revision we re-check our figures against it rather than carrying forward what we published before.

Eppler Company has supplied industrial valves, burner controls and boiler room parts since 2007. Send a part number, a nameplate photograph, or a description of what the valve has to do, and you will get a quote from someone who works with these valves every day.
